Ice-Out Stage (Late March - Early April)

First open water = walleyes stack at river mouths and inlet creeks. Water temp 38-44°F. Use 1/4 oz jig + minnow vertical. Top river spots: Mississippi pools 3-4, Wolf River, Rainy River.
