Spring (Ice-out – June)

Walleyes hold on the mud edges 18–24 ft. Spinner rigs with crawler at 1.2 mph. Mid-lake humps + the south end mud flats produce.

Ice Fishing

Mid-winter walleyes 22–28 ft on mid-lake humps. Jumbo perch shallow on the same humps. Mille Lacs is the biggest ice fishery in the world.
